For “He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.” (Exodus 35:35 ESV ).
We are all born creative and our creativity is God’s gift.
Creativity is unique to human and it is given to us for many reasons. You will notice, all children love to draw, color, dance or do imaginary play. There is no need to teach a child what to do with a toy, what to do with a color or how to move when music plays. The creative mind is second nature, and the process liberates our spirit, reinforces and feeds our curious and creative soul. It is how we learn of the world around us and stays connected to our inner spirit.
The empirical mind that we grew up with, under influence of science, has made us disbelieve much of God’s creation. The logical mind thinks everything is not true until it’s proven. Nurturing the creative mind is what we can do to counter that and stay in touch with God’s.
